Our mission is to empower Norristown's business community by promoting the growth & success of its members
  • Tax season has a way of sneaking up on business owners.

But a little end-of-year preparation now can make a big difference later.

Taking time to

Review your records

Itemize expenses,

Gather important documents,

And set an appointment with your bookkeeper

Can help you avoid last-minute stress and uncomfortable surprises.

Getting organized before the year ends helps tax season feel more manageable and gives you a clearer picture of where your business stands heading into the new year.
  • Budgeting looks different when your income isn’t the same every month.

That’s why having the right tools and systems matters.

Join us on January 28th at 5:30pm for Budgeting for Business Owners, led by Financial Coach Dianna Thornton (@enhancingyourfinances).

This session will walk business owners through practical ways to manage irregular income, separate personal and business finances, and build habits that support long-term stability.

We’ll also be making space to connect with fellow local business owners before and after the presentation, because strong businesses are built in community.

  • This week The Norristown Chamber partnered with @naef_nasd to connect with @norristownasd High School Students about entrepreneurship and business!

The students brought thoughtful questions to our panelists and got to hear the stories of success and failure directly from Norristown area business owners.

We are excited to continue building the next generation of business owners while supporting the current community.

  • Your input can share your community!

Montgomery County, with SALT Design Studio’s assistance, is developing a master plan for a new trail gateway along the Schuylkill River Trail in Norristown between Ford & DeKalb Streets. This site has the potential to become a key community destination—connecting residents and visitors to the trails, local neighborhoods, and downtown.

We invite you to share your thoughts about how you use trails and open spaces, what amenities and experiences matter to you most, and how this site can best reflect Norristown’s community, culture, and environment.

Your input will inform the design and programming of the Lafayette Street Trail Gateway.
