Our mission is to empower Norristown's business community by promoting the growth & success of its members
  • Your input can share your community!

Montgomery County, with SALT Design Studio’s assistance, is developing a master plan for a new trail gateway along the Schuylkill River Trail in Norristown between Ford & DeKalb Streets. This site has the potential to become a key community destination—connecting residents and visitors to the trails, local neighborhoods, and downtown.

We invite you to share your thoughts about how you use trails and open spaces, what amenities and experiences matter to you most, and how this site can best reflect Norristown’s community, culture, and environment.

Your input will inform the design and programming of the Lafayette Street Trail Gateway.

  • Many new things happened at Marco Motors this year.

This year brought exciting growth and innovation for Marco Motors Inc.

They expanded their facility to include four new working bays, three new lifts, and an extended parking area. Their new building features taller ceilings designed to accommodate larger vehicles like sprinter vans.

Marco Motors also continues to invest in education, recently hosting a Tesla-focused training with 18 technicians from 13 garages.

A special congratulations goes to David Maris, who expanded his community outreach by joining the Collegeville Rotary on November 12th.

Looking ahead, Marco Motors plans to continue upgrading equipment and growing their team to maintain the high level of service their customers rely on.
  • Don’t miss this unique opportunity to sleep out on the steps of the Montgomery County Courthouse - just one night without the comforts of home. Join us from 7pm to 7am this Thursday, November 20th to November 21st in Norristown. A rally with speakers will begin at 8pm.

The “One Night Without a Home” Sleep Out is part of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. This event is an opportunity for participants to spend a night outside to discuss, think, and learn about homelessness. Although one night outside can in no way simulate homelessness, this awareness-raising activity can promote advocacy, awareness, and education.
  • Help keep the community warm!

Look through your closets and pull out that coat you haven’t worn, someone in need would love to have it.

You can also visit your local thrift stores to purchase a few for those in need.

Drop them off at 800 West Germantown Pine in Norristown

  • Our Digital Marketing Blueprint workshop brought together business owners from across Norristown for an interactive, high-energy evening of learning, connection, and practical strategy.

Led by Zachary Piotti, Digital Marketing Consultant at Widener University’s SBDC, the session walked attendees through the core pillars of successful online marketing: identifying your audience, crafting content that resonates, understanding SEO and AIO, choosing the right digital platforms, and using AI tools like ChatGPT to boost efficiency and creativity.

Before the presentation began, participants introduced themselves with a 20-second timer on the screen—an activity that helped everyone connect and set a collaborative tone. The room stayed engaged throughout, with Zachary breaking down complex ideas into clear, usable steps that local business owners can implement right away.

Special thanks to Corbett Inc for hosting us in their beautiful space and to everyone who came out for an evening of growth and strategy. We look forward to continuing to support our business community with hands-on workshops like this one.
